A Mediterranean blue

Over centuries, Toulon, "Port du Levant" (the Eastern Harbour) has been the first French military harbour.

The military dockyard and the National Navy ships, both settled near the historical centre of the city, are one of the bay's main sights to see.

Departing from the harbour, the itineraries will allow you to approach the Charles-de-Gaulle aircraft carrier.

Furthermore, the city stands out thanks to "le Mourillon" beaches, labelled "blue pavilion" as a symbol of an exemplary environmental quality.

At the foot of Toulon, the Mediterranean Sea is an invitation to travel: towards the "Golden Islands" (Porquerolles, Port-Cros and le Levant) or farther towards Corsica. If Toulon's harbour is a favourite port of call for ferries and liners, it also attracts international events. It will be the case in 2013 with the return of the "Tall Ship's Regatta" which will put into the bay.
