The beaches

Ideally situated by the sea, the city of Toulon stands out with an accessible, protected and embellished coast.

Great alteration works carried out on the coastal path will allow you to stroll safely from "la Tour Royale" (the Royal Tower) to "Magaud" cove.

In "le Mourillon" district, 9 ha of beaches lined with landscaped gardens, including recreational areas and restaurants, make up a meeting place appreciated by Toulon's inhabitants and visitors.

"Le Mourillon" beaches are the ideal starting point to explore the coast.

In the West, leaving Lido cove, one should follow the seaside to discover the charming small beaches of "la Mître" and "Pipady", which adjoin "la Tour Royale" (the Royal Tower), recently opened to the public.

In the East, leaving the boating centre located at "Tabarly" cove, "le Sentier des douaniers" (the path of Customs officers) leads to the wild creeks of "Méjean" and "Magaud" coves.
